4 The LOVE ...

What would I do without my Tweeps? I do not want to know how bad things might be without those encouraging words, kind replies, random acts of LOVE received from the great people I have met on Twitter. Thank you Twitter, thank you to the many. Yet there are the few ... bad eggs that seem to pop up wherever people congregate to play mind-games & offer less than sincere representations of themselves. On Twitter it has been, for me, very little of this negative behavior, yet those mind-fucks encountered have reminded me that even a great community like Twitter will have the bullshitters too. It is very sad that some people seem to enjoy manipulating and taking advantage of others with hurtful words or hot then cold attentiveness. Then there are those (non-celebrities) who just seem to ignore your Tweets to them, leaving you to wonder WHY - as once you seemed 'good buds'. What happened? Was it something you said?

I'm not talking about the people whom you've had an unpleasant exchange with & have decided to
block or unfollow to keep additional strife out of your life. For me, the net is the one place I can have lots of LOVE and learning minus the negativity of those around me in my offline life. When people online start making me feel bad on the regular, I most definitely will opt to do whatever I can to remove that unpleasantness from my life. It is all about the LOVE, the JOY, & the laughter. I choose not to be a doormat. I choose to surround myself with like-minded people, and those who seem to be able to offer me something I can use.

I have often said 'KNOW who you are talking to' before you start telling them how to live their lives. Meaning - ask questions, find out and really consider where the person is coming from, their personal experiences, trials, tribulations. Inform yourself with that information. Our situations may be similar but still they are not the exact
SAME SITUATIONS. If someone doesn't take your advice or do as you do/did, maybe they are not able to at this point. You are blessed to have come as far as you have but we all walk different paths. My journey comes with circumstances 140 characters cannot begin to hold. Let's try to JUDGE each other less and be even more supportive. I have compassion for those few (and I can count them on one hand, thankfully) who have been less than loving on Twitter when I did not do what they suggested I do just when they told me to do it, and for those who have embraced me then discarded me for reasons only known to them. On to someone with a more attractive set of circumstances; someone with less wisdom/opinions? I hope they will grow, as I hope do everyday. Remember too, how can you force someone to live their life the way you want them to? Offering help and being determined that someone do it your way are not the same thing at all.

I pride myself on my honesty. I am
NOT online or on earth to hurt anyone. Let's LOVE.

Twitter is a great place to be. The world is changing.
Let's change it for the better, together.

CAN HEATHER LOCKLEAR ADD SPICE TO THE NEW 'MELROSE PLACE'?

How excited am I that actress Heather Locklear is joining the cast of the new Melrose Place? Well, it's a strange thing. I am totally thrilled at the wealth of possibilities with La Locklear's edgy character Amanda Woodward entering The CW's flashy MP make-over. Yet, so far this Melrose Place is so not anywhere near the level of entertainment that the old series was after its so-so first season, and just how much of an impact Locklear might have really falls into the hands of the writers/producers. With success on his Dynasty, T.J. Hooker then Melrose Place, the late TV producer extraordinaire, Aaron Spelling called Locklear his 'lucky penny'. She has the goods to deliver but just what do the show-runners of the 2009 show have in plan, plot-wise? Thomas Calabro & the great Laura Leighton are already on-board, with Josie Bissett & Daphne Zuniga announced for future episodes. Perhaps the thing to do with this new show is to wait-and-see. Is this a new beast featuring elements of the old show, or an 'enter-backwards' continuation of the popular series FOX aired in the 90s?

All A-Twitter

Well, I've said this blog was a work-in-progress. Don't have the kind of time to be here as I would like. And so the updates have been slow-coming. Since starting this blog I have found so many wonderful people on Twitter - just by taking a chance on new media that I didn't quite understand until I saw Twitter's co founder Evan on 'Charlie Rose'. He certainly made it seem like something worth TRYING, if nothing else. Oh, I am so so glad I did. No matter what ANYBODY says - the Internet DOES bring people closer together It CAN.
